The point about the Corps...

The point about the Corps not being "sold on the video's concepts" is kind of disingenuous, suggesting that voters should reject the toll road (vote yes) because of a nebulous engineering decision.
If the Corps does end up scuttling the toll road, then so be it. But let's not turn the public into an army of armchair quarterback engineers because of a mere possibility that the Corps would shut down the project.
That aside, the Corps has cooperated and been helpful with this project so far. I see little probability of a Corps-induced 11th hour cancellation. So we might cancel the project anticipating an outcome that is unlikely to happen in the first place?
[Ed Note: No, the Corps is not scuttling the toll road. They're saying it can't go where it has been proposed. This makes the video inaccurate. I'm certain they can build a tollroad inside the levee walls. But what will it look like? Nobody knows for sure--though all the literature and conceptuals would make you think they did! The point is that a "no" vote puts some tollroad somewhere inside the park looking like something yet to be defined. Voters need to be aware of that--and if you're OK with that, well by all means vote "no!"]
