To keep you safe, and generate city revenue, our hotel is staffed by no fewer than 47 Dallas Police Officers. One officer will be assigned, at all times, to patrol the main floor of the hotel.
The other officers are assigned to traffic duty (radar, traffic safety, DUI checkpoints and minor accidents) around the hotel but will respond (upon clearance of any traffic stop) in the event of a security situation at the hotel. The city guarantees a response time of 45 minutes unless the call involves a burglary. In the case of burglaries, reports will only be taken by phone if no lines are busy.
Guests have the option of activating a personal in-room alarm system upon payment of the city's $50 alarm permit. Alarm response is still subject to the city's Verified Response policy.
The hotel concierge, upon written request in accordance with Texas Government Code Chapter 552 ("The Texas Public Information Act"), will provide a list (for a nominal charge of .10 cents a page) of vendors who will monitor and respond to your personal in-room alarm should it go off.
