Jack Pierce's Revenge

Last week, Jim Schutze at the Dallas Observer wrote an incredible report about a handful of city council members, led by Bill Blaydes, trying to zone Hollywood Door Owner Jack Pierce off of the land he had owned since the 1950's.

One of the antagonists in the process was Dallas Mayoral Candidate Ed Oakley. Lesson for candidates: don't mess with strong-willed small business owners during election season!
