Bolton's Lawsuit Dismissed

Former Dallas Police Chief Terrell Bolton's lawsuit against the City of Dallas was dismissed with prejudice--meaning he cannot bring another similar complaint against the City.
Bolton filed suit in federal court against the City and, then, City Manager Ted Benavides after being fired in 2003.
US District Judge Ed Kinkeade threw most of Bolton's lawsuit out in 2005.
An appeals court reversed some of Judge Kinkeade's decisions and remanded the rest back to Kinkeade.
Last Friday, Judge Kinkeade ruled that Bolton couldn't prove his damages were caused by the city firing him. Kinkeade then dismissed the rest of the case against Bolton.

Bolton and DeKalb?
Will he try and sue DeKalb when the next CEO comes on board and says: "see you"?
We will have the buses to ride around the county.
[Ed Note: ...and who says we, here in Dallas, forget ancient history!]
Some Justice in the World
I'm so glad to see this. He never should have been chief of police. I'm convinced that he was a dirty corrupt cop and never should have been placed in a position of authority involving anything more important than a public urinal.
2 cents.
