Someone Is a Great Big Liar

Kent Fisher had a shocking episode today. He posted the handout the Board of Trustees received Thursday in regard to possible RIFs.

When the benefits for central administrators were not even summed correctly on the data GIVEN THE BOARD, Fisher retrieved the DMN version of the highest paid 100 folks for the 2008-09 year. While it has some errors, the salaries and benefits do not in any way resemble the information GIVEN TO THE BOARD.

Now.....who would have passed on totally inaccurate information to the Board of Trustees, our elected officials? A team of central administrators were answering questions, and none of them bothered to say that the central administration salary information given to the board was totally inaccurate and misleading--all in their favor, of course. So Hinojosa didn't know that the handout given the board misrepresented his salary by amost $100K??

Citizens, might be good to contact your board members, if you can find the darlings (especially Lowe, Bingham, and Flores, who play incognito as it pleases them), and ask them how they like being played. Might want to ask Ellis if she can take time to first put on grown up clothes, adjust her attitude to that of a professional, and hold her darling Michael accountable for feeding her garbage.

Flores, so wrapped up your credentials, would you allow someone in a lawsuit to lie to you, mislead you, make you appear to be a total fool? How about you, Lowe? Your employees feed you BS for data and keep their jobs? Or do you finally admit you made a horrible mistake in hiring this fool?

Ron Price, do you want to put on a show for folks, or is it possible for you to stay focused on an issue? Medrano, well, no one expects anything of you, so forget it.

Ms. Ranger, you now appear to be a cross between a rocket scientist and a brain surgeon. Funny how democracy works. The creaking from the wheel that didn't go along to get along turned out to have the sense that Flores' credentials haven't given him.

Mr. Blackburn, time for you to quit threatening and pick up the phone to the AG's office. You were fed BS in a meeting, where you were supposed to vote the way Michael wanted. He fed you false data to make his case. Go ahead, pick up the phone. He was trying to rush you through this vote so he and his cronies (nepotism, Pcard, incompetent crud) could keep their jacked up salaries.

And if the fiscal info he was feeding all of you was false, guess what? Much of the academic progress is also BS. Other than being a manipulative, conniving jerk who surrounds himself with those of little character, Hinojoksa doesn't have a skill set.

Excuses from the board are now officially over. Hinojoksa wanted to throw teachers out into a possible Great Depression (also caused by crooks who want a bailout), while he and his lackies continued their private sector salaries on the taxpayers' money.

DO YOU GET IT NOW???

[Ed Note: Salaries, as of last Spring, are freely available on this website. Be sure you're not confusing salary with gross pay (total compensation). They're very different.]

I am not one to tell people

I am not one to tell people when to not rant, and that is not why I am responding. However, as a 7 year teacher in the DISD, I take offense to one line of your commentary. You alluded to the educational gains, or improved scores, possibly being inflated because the salaries were not reported correctly. I must remind you that those scores are real, not because the administration is doing such a great job but because the teachers, all of us, are working so hard. You can rant against our administration all you like; that they messed up is fact, but do not attack the successes of our teaching staff across the district.

TAKS not real

I ran across this posting, and it is more to the point regarding Hinojokster's continual bragging about exemplary schools:

We all know teachers are held dearly accountable for the results of these tests, but the results correlate to pretty much nothing. Hinojokey is bound to know this, yet the show continues.

TeachersDidIt

Of course, the teachers were the ones who raised scores. Didn't see Collier in a classroom teaching, did we? Micheaux only shows up on campus to do her Maria Antoinette act. Skyline gets the, "it's a done deal" line, and Spruce parents were treated to her haughty contempt also. Leslie Williams? Saturday Night Live material, maybe!

Hinojoksa's spiel that he takes credit for what he could not possibly accomplish if he were back in the classroom is galling. Notice, he doesn't take credit for the failure at Spruce. In fact, he is a no-show whenever there are problems.

He had to have known of the budget shortfall, but he received a huge performance bonus, then slips the board pure BS in terms of central administrator salary and bonuses. There are principals on that list who have been demoted several times, pcard offenders of major proportions, and useless departments.

And he is hanging on to all them for dear life. Don't we all wonder why?
