Parrott Clarifies Education Credentials On His Website
Submitted by Allen Gwinn on Tue, 12/01/2009 - 10:37.

DISD School Board candidate Bruce Parrott has changed his website to reflect he went to school at "Texas A&M - Commerce" after his claim of getting his masters degree at Texas A&M seemed to create confusion and controversy.
Dallas Morning News reporter Diane Rado was vetting Parrott's education credentials when she called Texas A&M. According to Rado's blog, "the school had no record of Parrott graduating."
Parrott did most of his masters work at East Texas State University in Commerce. The school changed its name to Texas A&M Commerce in 1996--the year Parrott graduated.

How could he think he'd get away with this?
I dont understand how he thought he would be able to get away this? With the amount of information that is now available readily throughout the internet people can not get away with anything they used to be able to get away with. This is definitely his own fault.
Good Information
I think its good that election credentials are available at some place where you can easily access those. These days I am feeling really bad about the political situation going on....
Bruce On Film!
Heres what I dont get about you Gwinn. I would think with your propensity for going after material that you would be bending over backwards to get Bruce elected. Why? Think about it. Everything they do is on camera. The board meetings are all on camera, the briefings and who knows what else. Bruce will be on camera and theres nothing he can do to stop it! He cant just tell them to turn the cameras off when he speaks. As goofy as he is its bound to make for some great material. All you need to do is download it and put it together! So look at the bright side. If Bruce gets elected you will have material coming out your ears. Isnt that worth dumping Ellis?
[Ed Note: Well, I never really thought about it that way. I agree that there, if Bruce were on the board, there would likely be some classic funny on-camera moments. I guess we'll have to see.]
